In 2231, two civilizations struggle to survive in post World War III. Scotland's King Malachi desires peace and prosperity for all of Scotland and sends an envoy to offer peace to King Edmund who flatly refuses to ally himself with the peasant upstart. He would rather watch his people starve to death than share what he has. He will show Malachi who is the true King of Scotland and sends his son Christian to burn one of Malachi's villages to the ground, slaughtering everyone. Malachi, finding his back against a wall marches on Edmund, seeking justice for his slaughtered people.
